Lead QA Engineer - Salesforce

About the role

Bridge BSS Talent, a global provider of IT outsourcing and business support services, is looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to lead quality assurance across multiple projects. The role suits someone with strong leadership skills, hands-on testing expertise and the ability to coordinate testing with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. It is a hybrid position based in Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end QA activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Define QA strategies, test plans, test cases and quality standards for software delivery.
• Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Manage functional, integration, regression, system, performance and UAT testing.
• Oversee Salesforce testing across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom solutions, workflows, integrations and business processes, validating configurations, Apex, Lightning components, reports, dashboards and integrations.
• Design and run test scenarios for Salesforce enhancements, releases and deployments.
• Manage defects, testing schedules, resources and deliverables, and review requirements for complete test coverage.
• Mentor QA engineers and report testing progress and risks to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years in software QA, with proven experience leading QA teams or managing testing for enterprise applications.
• Strong manual testing experience; automation experience is an added advantage.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certification is mandatory; Test Manager and Test Automation Engineer certifications are an added advantage.
• Salesforce certification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• API, database, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on Salesforce testing, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and release management (added advantage).
• Automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress (added advantage).
• Agile/Scrum, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enterprise CRM and data migration testing (added advantage).
