CAD Engineer

About the role

Michelin, the worldwide leader in tires, is hiring a CAD Engineer. The role covers the production of accurate technical machine drawings and layouts, keeping documentation compliant with engineering standards and company specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of machine technical documentation and associated instructions (safety, quality, response procedures and backup).
• Produce accurate, error-free technical process machine drawings and layouts, delivered on time according to project schedules.
• Update and manage drawing revisions and document control in line with Michelin standards.
• Support engineers and project teams with detailed design documentation.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and project records.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design and drafting issues promptly.
• Contribute to cost savings by optimizing designs and reducing rework.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical drafting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
