About the role

Michelin is seeking a Mechanical Draftsman on a one‑year fixed‑term contract to provide technical drafting and documentation support for maintenance, plant modifications, and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, revise and maintain mechanical, civil, utility and plant layout drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
Update as‑built drawings after maintenance modifications and project execution.
Produce detailed fabrication and installation drawings for maintenance teams.
Maintain drawing registers, version control and document traceability.
Support corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities with accurate sketches and equipment layouts.

Required profile

Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2‑3 years of technical drafting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts and technical specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
