Oracle Fusion Functional Manager (Financials / PPM)

About the role

EY is hiring an Oracle Fusion Functional Manager in Colombo, covering either Oracle Fusion Financials or Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The role translates client business requirements into Oracle Fusion solutions, leads fit-gap analysis, testing, training and user adoption, and works from offshore locations. Deep expertise in one domain is expected; knowledge of both is desirable.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and map them to Oracle Fusion functionalities
• Run CRP sessions, design reviews and solution discussions, and deliver solutions independently from offshore locations
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, training and user adoption
• Support business users during CRP, SIT and UAT cycles
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training materials and other deliverables
• Train users and stakeholders
• Collaborate with PMO, business stakeholders, leadership teams and project teams
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cash Management) and/or Oracle Fusion PPM (Project Costing, Billing, Foundation, Contracts, Control, Resource Management, Performance Reporting, Grants Management)

Required profile

• 8-11 years of relevant experience in Oracle Fusion PPM and/or Financials, with strong expertise in one or both domains
• At least 4 full-lifecycle Oracle ERP implementations with exposure to Oracle Fusion
• Client-facing consulting experience and hands-on configuration, testing and test case work
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, IT or a related field; CA, CMA/CWA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent is an added advantage
• Valid passport and willingness to travel for client engagements

Required skills

• Oracle Fusion Financials and/or PPM
• Experience with documentation methodologies such as OUM or AIM
• Release management and deployment understanding
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, customer handling and mentoring skills
