DevOps Architect / Associate Architect

About the role

Bridge Talent is looking for an Associate Architect / Architect – DevOps to design and drive scalable DevOps solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. The role covers cloud architecture, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, DevSecOps and SRE practices, with technical leadership to deliver secure, reliable and highly automated platforms. It is a hybrid position based in Colombo.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable DevOps architecture across cloud and hybrid environments
• Build, optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable deployments
• Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption to enable automation and consistency
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting frameworks for system reliability
• Implement SRE practices including SLAs, SLOs and incident management
• Integrate security into development pipelines through DevSecOps practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership and guidance
• Work with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Google Cloud databases) for integration, migration and performance optimization

Required profile

• 7-10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or related roles
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure or GCP environments
• Proficiency in Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with SQL, MySQL and Google Cloud databases
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership mindset and ability to work in agile teams daily
