Senior Executive NVOCC

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Executive – NVOCC to oversee and coordinate NVOCC operations, ensuring smooth cargo movement from booking through documentation to final delivery. The role works closely with shipping lines, customers, overseas agents, transporters and internal teams to guarantee accurate and timely shipping processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day NVOCC and sea‑freight operations, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate cargo bookings, vessel schedules, space allocation and shipment planning with shipping lines and stakeholders.
• Prepare, verify and process Bills of Lading, Shipping Instructions, manifests, delivery orders and other required documentation.
• Monitor shipment status, follow up on vessel schedules, transshipments, delays and cargo movements.
• Handle LCL/FCL shipments, oversee consolidation and de‑consolidation activities.
• Resolve operational issues, documentation discrepancies and shipment‑related queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, documentation and operational transactions.
• Liaise with commercial, customer service, finance and operations teams to ensure end‑to‑end execution.
• Support compliance with company procedures, shipping regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in monitoring freight costs and provide operational updates to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in NVOCC, sea‑freight, freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with NVOCC operations and shipping documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple shipments and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with CargoWise or other freight‑forwarding/ERP systems.
