Management Trainee - Logistics

About the role

Lvra Global is seeking a Management Trainee to support logistics and supply chain activities for its Colombo operations. This full‑time, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience in order processing, inventory tracking, and documentation for both domestic and export shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of logistics and supply chain tasks.
• Process orders, track inventory, and maintain related documentation.
• Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with service providers and customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Analyze logistics data and prepare regular reports.
• Handle basic customer inquiries regarding deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
• Learn and apply best practices in logistics management.
• Contribute to process improvements and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Ability to work on‑site in Rajagiriya and manage time effectively.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior internship or entry‑level experience in logistics, operations, or a related function is a plus.
• Valid driving license for a bike.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Basic familiarity with logistics or ERP systems (advantageous).
