Channel Manager

About the role

We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka seeking a Channel Manager to lead sales initiatives within the HORECA sector. The role focuses on developing and managing distributor channels and key accounts for beverage brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business plans and define territories for market development.
• Drive Route-to-Consumer (RTC) effectiveness aligned with channel and category goals.
• Identify growth opportunities using insights in collaboration with Commercial and Trade Marketing teams.
• Champion digital initiatives, including Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Business Intelligence tools.
• Establish and strengthen distributor channels across the region.
• Plan sales processes for general trade and key account management.
• Organize promotional activities and drive sales.
• Build customer relationships and design sales/marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG, beverage, or alcoholic beverage sales & marketing or channel management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing.
• Excellent communication skills.
