Executive, Sales Operations

About the role

LSEG, a global financial markets infrastructure and data business, is hiring an Executive, Sales Operations in Colombo. The role supports Global Sales teams by keeping deal data accurate in Salesforce, processing contracts and reporting on sales pipeline activity.

Key responsibilities

• Support Global Sales teams by locating existing terms, invoices and related data.
• Monitor Salesforce stages and keep each opportunity up to date throughout its lifecycle.
• Ensure the Deal Intake Form and any supplementary documents are completed successfully.
• Reconcile final contracts with the data entered in Salesforce and work with Global Sales to make corrections.
• Use DocuSign to complete signatures, return signed agreements to clients and provide welcome forms and client self-service logins.
• Ensure all Salesforce objects (Account, Contracts, Subscriptions, Commission) and CLM records are fully populated and folders are accurate.
• Provide refresher training to the Global Sales team on the Sales Completion Process as needed.
• Report to the Middle Office Senior Manager on key role activities.
• Act as verification for regional sales pipelines and sales numbers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Management, Sales or Analytics.
• Around 1-2 years of relevant business experience, preferably in Sales or Sales Operations.
• Experience working well within a team and communicating findings clearly, including detailed emails with data points and presentations to groups.
• Understanding of the importance of data and data quality.
• Collaboration with Sales and Finance departments is key.

Required skills

• Experience using the Salesforce.com CRM system.
• Strong analytical skills using Microsoft packages to gain insights and recommend strategic improvements.
