Key Account Manager (Airline Sales) - Colombo

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for a commercially driven sales representative to grow its presence and performance in the Sri Lankan market. Based in Colombo, you will manage and develop relationships with key trade and commercial accounts, identify new revenue opportunities and run sales activities that contribute directly to commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective accounts, positioning Etihad as a trusted commercial partner.
• Develop and execute sales activities to achieve revenue targets, converting new business using customer, market and sales insights.
• Promote Etihad's products, network and commercial propositions, and negotiate and manage commercial agreements within established guidelines.
• Monitor competitor and market activity to grow market share and commercial performance.
• Represent Etihad in customer meetings and industry events, working with regional and Head Office stakeholders.
• Support local commercial projects, new market opportunities and the development of newer sales team members when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant sales or commercial experience.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering against sales, revenue or commercial targets.
• Existing work rights within Sri Lanka; sponsorship or relocation assistance is not provided.
• Airline, aviation or travel experience is advantageous, but strong B2B sales performance is equally valued.
