CCTV Operating Assistant

About the role

The CCTV Operating Assistant supports the security team by continuously monitoring surveillance cameras and ensuring that any suspicious activity is promptly identified and reported. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for the organization’s premises.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems on a 24/7 basis.
• Identify, document and report suspicious activities, incidents and security concerns.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and observation records.
• Coordinate with security personnel and relevant departments when escalation is required.
• Ensure proper functioning of CCTV equipment and report technical issues immediately.
• Mark camera locations on layout maps and keep the IP list of cameras and NVRs up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• G.C.E. A/L qualification or equivalent.
• Good observation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and stay alert for extended periods.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with security operations.
