About the role
WNS Global Services is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to support its clients across multiple industries. You will work on risk assessments, compliance activities, and security incident handling while collaborating with business and risk management leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct information security and privacy risk assessments using frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Review security and privacy clauses in contracts and ensure compliance.
- Support certification, audit activities, and third‑party risk management.
- Assist in handling security incidents and data‑breach investigations.
- Maintain risk assessment trackers and sensitive information inventories.
- Drive security awareness initiatives across the organization.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- 5‑7 years of experience in information security.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, POPIA and PIPEDA.
