Head of Security Operations Center

About the role

The Head of Security Operations Center (SOC) will define and execute the SOC strategy, overseeing 24x7 operations, incident response, and service delivery to align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute SOC strategy, operating model, service portfolio, roadmap and capacity plans.
• Lead 24x7 SOC operations including threat detection, security monitoring, incident response, escalation management and service continuity.
• Act as executive incident lead for critical cyber security events, managing decisions, stakeholder communication and post‑incident reviews.
• Own SOC governance, budgets, resource planning, vendor relationships, service quality, profitability, SLAs and operational performance.
• Partner with sales and business development to expand managed security offerings, support pre‑sales activities and contribute to proposals.
• Build strong relationships with customers, technology partners and serve as senior escalation point for key accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of cyber security experience, including at least 5 years in SOC or Managed Security Services leadership.
• Proven experience managing budgets, resources, SLAs, vendor relationships and service profitability.

Required skills

• SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, cyber security governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
