Billing Executive - Accounts Receivable

About the role

LSEG is looking for a Billing Executive to support day-to-day billing activities for its UK and US Information Services division. The role supports the timely processing of finance operations activities and transactions, delivering accurate and timely billing outcomes while following established processes, controls and policies. It works closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales and Operations in a global, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain new business contracts in LRMB and Oracle systems in line with approved terms and policies.
• Process new and recurring invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review billing transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely and structured way.
• Maintain complete and well-organized accounting records to support audit and control requirements.
• Respond to internal and external queries on billing and invoicing with clear, professional support.
• Work with Finance Operations, Master Data, Sales and Sales Operations teams.
• Provide extra support to finance teams during peak periods or complex activities.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and respond to requests from Group and local finance teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• A relevant degree or professional qualification, or currently studying towards one.
• Experience in billing or accounts receivable, ideally within a medium to large organization.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and billing processes.
• Ability to plan and organize work to meet deadlines, and to work independently while contributing positively in a team.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to work with US-based teams.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Desirable: experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems.
