Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering

About the role

LSEG is hiring a Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering, based in Colombo. The role reports to the LCH Group CFO and drives strategy and decision support across LCH Group, a highly supervised, systemically critical clearing and bilateral services business. It works closely with the Group CFO, its leadership team, the COO, business managers and change leads.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the LCH Ltd Board presentations and the LCH Group strategic planning process, engaging across business and finance teams
• Lead critical deliverables such as LCH Board packs, the annual wind-down plan and stress tests for the Capital reset, and quarter/half-year end requests from Investor Relations
• Support M&A activity, integration and divestment opportunities, and due diligence exercises
• Support modelling for investment proposals and collation of Capex financials
• Produce analysis of revenue, costs, efficiency and key KPIs, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities, and respond to ad-hoc analysis requests
• Build analytics capability across Business Partnering and Finance, leading initiatives to interrogate data, innovate reporting and improve insight

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with a strong financial background, preferably a member of a professional body such as ACCA or CIMA
• 10+ years of post-qualifying experience in management accounting and business partnering
• Experience influencing colleagues and partners in cross-functional and indirect teams, and challenging peers and seniors
• Ability to manage direct and indirect subordinates in a matrix model
