Associate Security Analyst

About the role

Work under the close guidance of senior analysts and engineers to gain hands‑on experience across incident response, security tooling, and customer engagement. Through structured training and mentoring you will progress toward a Security Operations Analyst (L1) role.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with internal teams and customers, assist in workshops and security reviews.
• Monitor security alert queues across Endpoint (EDR/XDR), Email Security, Identity, and SIEM/SOAR platforms, triage alerts under supervision.
• Shadow senior analysts during investigations and follow incident‑response playbooks.
• Document incidents, procedures and lessons learned accurately.
• Support implementation and maintenance of basic security controls and escalate uncertain issues.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a technical or IT support role.
• Recently completed a degree or certification in IT, cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong curiosity, fast learning ability and methodical problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written documentation skills.
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude aligned with company values.

Required skills

• Endpoint security tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, Sophos, Trend Vision One.
• Email security platforms like Mimecast, Proofpoint, Exchange Online Protection.
• Identity & Access Management solutions (Entra ID, conditional access, MFA).
• SIEM/SOAR platforms including Microsoft Sentinel, USM Anywhere or equivalents.
• Familiarity with incident‑response frameworks (NIST IR, MITRE ATT&CK).
