Assistant – Distribution & Dealership Operations

About the role

Yamamoto Motor Corp is seeking an Assistant for Distribution & Dealership Operations to support the Operations Manager in daily logistics and dealer‑related activities. This role will ensure smooth communication with dealers, maintain accurate records, and help coordinate the distribution of high‑performance motorcycles across Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate communications with dealers and internal teams.
• Maintain and update distribution and dealership records.
• Process documentation related to shipments, inventory, and dealer agreements.
• Assist in the planning and execution of daily distribution activities.
• Monitor dealer performance metrics and report findings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in operations, distribution, logistics or a similar role.
• Experience in the automotive, motorcycle or dealership sector is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
