Supervising Associate - Client Excellence, Account Excellence

About the role

EY is hiring a Supervising Associate (Assistant Manager level, rank 64) for its Client Excellence - Account Excellence function in Colombo. The Account Manager works with account leadership to plan and implement the account activation strategy, partnering with the Global Client Service Partner and Client Executive to drive account management, sales and program management, and account communications and administration. The role is based in a non-client-proximate location.

Key responsibilities

• Account management: implement the global account activation strategy, co-develop the account plan, run account maturity assessments, prepare account meeting materials, track account actions, develop the onboarding process, run the Service Quality assessment, review account financials and monitor operational metrics
• Sales and program management: manage annual global revenue planning, own the CRM process, manage the account pipeline, coordinate pursuit processes, run win/loss debriefs, share thought leadership and maintain account marketing materials
• Knowledge management: partner with offshore enablement, finance, brand and marketing, and build a repository of team documents such as MSAs, rate cards and SOW templates
• Marketing and communications: run the account marketing plan, distribute thought leadership and event invites, support alumni relations and team newsletters, and act as the account's knowledge steward
• Make decisions on behalf of Partners where needed and coach firm leadership without direct authority

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• 6 to 10 years in a professional services firm delivering operational enablement to teams across geographies; prior sales, marketing and business development experience preferred
• Ability to work across borders and in highly unstructured environments
