About the role
The Senior Merchandiser – Procurement will lead the Sourcing & Procurement teams for an assigned customer category, ensuring raw material requirements are met from purchase order to payment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate sample and bulk raw material requirements with Planning, aligning with T&A and production priorities.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of raw materials.
- Work with internal and external teams to resolve PO‑to‑payment issues.
- Proactively manage raw material risks and implement corrective actions to protect production and garment deliveries.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Textile/Clothing Technology, Materials Management or a related field.
- 3–6 years of apparel experience in raw material planning, procurement, sourcing or supply chain, with strong fabric and trims knowledge.
- Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills, with urgency, accountability and independence in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience using ERP systems to track raw materials and analyze gaps.
