Senior Finance Systems Analyst

About the role

IFS is looking for a highly motivated Finance Systems Support Analyst to join its global Finance Systems Support team. The role supports and enhances finance-related business systems, with a primary focus on IFS Cloud Finance and associated applications, working closely with Finance stakeholders, IT teams and business users. It combines finance knowledge, system expertise, problem-solving and project involvement in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for finance applications, including IFS Cloud Finance modules, and investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests and user queries
• Manage support tickets according to agreed service levels and priorities, and monitor recurring issues for permanent fixes
• Collaborate with technical teams and vendors, and communicate incident progress to stakeholders
• Partner with Finance teams to improve efficiency, controls and user experience, document requirements and support process standardization and automation
• Maintain system configurations and master data, including companies and legal entities, general ledger accounts, cost centers, banking configurations, user access, approval workflows and E-invoicing
• Take part in implementations, upgrades and enhancements, including SIT and UAT, training, testing and post-go-live support
• Support finance reporting, data quality, audits and global localization and transformation initiatives
• Develop user guides, deliver training and promote user adoption

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting or a related finance role
• Solid understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking and Cash Management, including accounting principles, revenue recognition and financial controls
• Experience with business process analysis and requirements gathering
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment

Required skills

• ERP systems such as IFS applications, SAP or Oracle (highly preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
