Senior Demand Planning Executive – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking an analytical and results‑driven Senior Demand Planning Executive to join a leading FMCG organization in Gampaha. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, coordinating production schedules, and optimizing inventory to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales, market trends and customer insights to generate accurate demand forecasts.
• Develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimise excess stock.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Production teams to ensure seamless planning and execution.
• Identify gaps between forecast and actual demand, propose corrective actions and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, production planning or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
