Operations Manager

About the role

LUMALA, a leading bicycle manufacturer with 50 years of heritage, is expanding its product portfolio with e‑bikes and innovative three‑wheelers. We are looking for a self‑motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily activities and drive efficiency across our production and distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient business activities.
• Identify inefficiencies, improve processes and boost productivity.
• Manage resources including staff, budgets, equipment, and materials.
• Lead, train, and motivate teams while handling performance management.
• Maintain quality control standards for products, services, and internal workflows.
• Coordinate with finance, HR, sales, and logistics to align operations with company goals.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare operational reports for leadership, and support strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Manage supply chain, vendor relationships, inventory, and distribution as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations or related field.
• Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of business processes, workflow planning and performance improvement.
• Excellent leadership, team supervision and staff development abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources and operational costs effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Experience with KPI tracking, reporting and operational strategy execution.
• Effective communication and coordination across departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operations software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Data management tools.
