Network Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

GTN is a FinTech‑powered brokerage building a global trading ecosystem. We are looking for a proactive Network Engineer to drive automation, cloud networking, and security across our multi‑market platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage networking tools, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Configure and support AWS and other cloud platforms with a focus on network design, security, and best practices.
• Develop scripts in Python, PowerShell, Ruby or .NET to streamline operations.
• Apply ITIL/ITSM/SRE practices for incident and change management.
• Deploy and maintain firewalls, VPCs, site‑to‑site tunnels, routers, switches, SDN and VPN solutions.
• Analyze and remediate network security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Maintain an artifact library of network policies, standards and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with GTN policies, certifications, SLAs and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with vendors on incident management and provide 24 × 7 × 365 on‑call support.

Required profile

• Networking‑related degree, CCNA or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in on‑premises or cloud environments, including VMs.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing and firewalls.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and experience with network automation.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Background in 24 × 7 managed services, hosted service companies or a Network Operations Center, preferably in FinTech.
