Senior Lead - DevOps

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead – DevOps to drive the operation and evolution of a mission‑critical charging platform for large‑scale telecommunications services. In this senior technology leadership role you will oversee DevOps teams, champion automation and cloud adoption, and shape architectural decisions that enable innovation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑performing DevOps and operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and high availability of critical business systems.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, automation, and incident‑management practices.
• Drive continuous improvement, root‑cause analysis, and risk‑mitigation initiatives.
• Manage system upgrades, releases, platform enhancements, and configuration management.
• Oversee infrastructure modernization, including cloud and containerized environments, to optimize performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Contribute to enterprise technology strategy, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure compliance with architecture standards.
• Provide technical leadership for large‑scale transformation projects and feasibility assessments for new products.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions on schedule.
• Lead security‑by‑design practices, vulnerability management, and compliance with security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent cloud certification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations, with proven leadership of technical teams.
• Experience managing large‑scale production environments in telecom or similar sectors.
