Lead Engineer – Enterprise & Fixed Data Core DevOps

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to own the operation, automation and evolution of our enterprise and fixed data core platforms. The role sits within the Core Network Operations team and is responsible for ensuring high‑availability, performance and security of broadband, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operation and maintenance of enterprise and fixed data core platforms, including broadband, Wi‑Fi, authentication, DNS, DHCP, SD‑WAN and network security.
• Design, develop and deploy automation solutions using Python, Bash and other scripting languages to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Drive fault detection, root‑cause analysis, incident management and service restoration activities.
• Evaluate technical requirements, prototype new services and manage customer provisioning and device management platforms (TR‑069, LTE, 5G, Fixed Wireless Access).
• Collaborate with vendors to test, deploy and migrate software releases and emerging technologies.
• Maintain disaster recovery, business continuity and compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent accredited qualification).
• 4–7 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, systems engineering or DevOps.
