Junior Factory Buyer (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Junior Factory Buyer you will support the factory’s procurement function by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time. You will work closely with the Factory Procurement Manager, internal teams and external suppliers to keep production flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Source, order and secure supply of assigned program materials.
• Expedite deliveries, monitor material availability and handle exceptions.
• Manage cost of unexpected demand changes and maintain inventory levels.
• Negotiate prices, select suppliers and develop second‑source options.
• Coordinate with Customer Buyer/Strategic Buyer on supply‑chain strategies.
• Maintain master data and material planning in SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; cable & wire‑harness background is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP system).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
