GRM Executive

About the role

The GRM Executive is responsible for overseeing the receipt, inspection, recording, storage and overall management of inventory within a supermarket environment. The role ensures accurate stock levels, efficient flow of goods and compliance with FIFO principles to support smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record inventory accurately in the stock management system.
• Organise and store products following FIFO (first‑in‑first‑out) methodology.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages or discrepancies, and assist with regular stock counts.
• Support inventory audits and manage damaged, expired or returned items.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe storage area.
• Coordinate with suppliers and store staff to ensure seamless stock movement.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organisational abilities and good communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of BUSY Accounting software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
