About the role

The Waitress will join Otherland Hotels in Galle, delivering attentive table service in a contemporary, experience‑first environment. This full‑time, on‑site position involves greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and take orders with precision.
• Serve food and beverages according to brand standards.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle guest queries, process payments and support special events.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with professional, courteous interaction.
• Knowledge of food & beverage offerings and basic service etiquette.
• Clear communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants or hotels preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays in a fast‑paced environment.
