Business Development Representative

About the role

Join appiGo’s fast‑growing tech startup to drive the adoption of Rush, a platform that reshapes how Sri Lankans discover and book restaurants. You will lead market entry efforts and build lasting partnerships with restaurant owners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for Rush.
• Meet with restaurant owners and key decision‑makers to present the solution.
• Build and nurture long‑term partnership relationships.
• Manage a team of AI agents and a Business Development Representative agent.
• Identify target restaurants and articulate unique selling points.
• Generate new leads through LinkedIn, WhatsApp, calls, emails and in‑person visits.
• Collaborate with an ambitious team to scale the company’s growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Customer Success.
• Passion for talking to people and building genuine relationships.
• Strong empathy and customer‑centric mindset.
• Goal‑driven, taking initiative without waiting for instructions.
• Fluent in English and Sinhala (Tamil a plus).
• Experience or connections in the hospitality industry are advantageous.
