Bar Waiter – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Bar Waiter will deliver attentive, courteous service to guests in the hotel’s bar and lounge, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This full‑time, on‑site position involves greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving beverages and bar snacks in line with hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, take orders and serve drinks and bar snacks promptly.
• Coordinate with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar tables, service stations and payment areas.
• Check stock levels, assist with basic drink preparation and garnishing, and adhere to hygiene, safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Support special events and collaborate with colleagues to provide a high‑quality guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, guest‑focused demeanor.
• Clear verbal communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in food & beverage service, preferably in a bar, lounge, restaurant or hotel environment.
• Basic cooking or bar‑preparation skills, including drink garnishing and food‑safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and stand for extended periods.
• Professional appearance, reliability and a positive attitude toward learning.
