Associate, FX Service Operations

About the role

The Associate, FX Service Operations ensures the stable and efficient operation of LSEG's FX trading platforms across the global trading lifecycle. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, pre-market readiness and early identification of issues so platforms are fully operational before each regional market opens. It is based at LSEG Malabe and operates on a rotational shift basis between 3:30 AM and 8:30 PM, with flexibility to work Sundays considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform proactive and confirmatory checks across markets, systems and tools to keep platforms healthy and ready for the regional open
• Maintain, enhance and expand operational checks, and introduce new positive affirmation checks regularly
• Develop, review and maintain processes, procedures, documentation, RACIs and escalation frameworks
• Own issues found through Operational Support checks, escalating them promptly and coordinating with support teams and management
• Keep stakeholders informed on system health at defined checkpoints and produce weekly reports, dashboards and metrics
• Work with automation teams to onboard checks, deliver knowledge transfer and support customer alert management and event logging
• Raise change requests, identify automation opportunities and support management with ad hoc tasks
• Support onboarding and training of new joiners and act as a role model for the team

Required profile

• Experience in application support, operations or technical client service within financial services
• Basic understanding of financial markets
• Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments with high attention to detail
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, and willingness to learn and give feedback

• Incident, problem and escalation processes
• Basic understanding of automation/RPA concepts (advantageous)
