Area Revenue Manager – India & Sri Lanka

About the role

Aman Amangalla in Galle is looking for an Area Revenue Manager covering India and Sri Lanka. The role leads revenue management initiatives across a portfolio of hotels, using pricing, forecasting, inventory and distribution strategies to drive market share, profitability and commercial success. It works closely with property and regional leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive total revenue optimization for a cluster of hotels by aligning pricing, market segmentation and room type strategies
• Manage pricing and room inventory across all channels, including F&B, spa and ancillary revenue sources
• Run monthly and weekly forecasts for market segments and project demand
• Lead revenue strategy meetings and run weekly competitive market analysis to optimise RevPAR
• Prepare month-end assessments and share findings with stakeholders, including Regional/Corporate Revenue Management
• Analyse and communicate business trends, booking pace and performance against benchmarks, forecasts and budget
• Lead and mentor the revenue management and reservations teams, build a culture of Total Revenue Management and set up succession plans at each hotel
• Partner with department heads on promotions and act as revenue champion when property-based revenue management leadership is absent
• Use PMS, RMS, CRS and CMS technology fully to optimise business mix and revenue

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in supervisory or management roles in hospitality revenue management
• Proven ability to design and implement distribution strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication in the local language and English; other languages are an asset
• Team leadership, stakeholder management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a positive, professional attitude

• Opera PMS/ORS, CRS Synxis, Ideas G3 and channel management systems
• Highly computer literate with Microsoft Office
