Reservations Executive

About the role

Aman is looking for a Reservations Executive for its Sri Lanka office in Colombo. The role manages guest booking requests and inquiries across Aman's global portfolio, delivering personalised, efficient and brand-aligned service. It also covers building complex itineraries, coordinating pre-arrival arrangements and serving high-value guests such as Aman Private Office clients, Club members and Residential owners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest reservation requests by phone, email and digital channels with accuracy and personal attention.
• Convert qualified inquiries into confirmed bookings, applying rate strategy knowledge to optimise revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Enter and manage all reservations accurately in Aman's systems, keeping data integrity and complying with operational standards.
• Design and coordinate multi-property itineraries and support pre-arrival planning and special requests.
• Work with property teams and regional offices to ensure smooth execution of reservations.
• Provide discreet, high-touch service to VIP guests and maintain guest profiles with preferences and history.
• Keep up to date on property offerings, seasonal availability and promotions, and escalate complex booking issues to management.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in reservations, customer service or a guest-facing hospitality role in a luxury environment.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems proactively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• High level of discretion and integrity with confidential guest information.

Required skills

• Experience with reservation or CRM systems (e.g. Opera, SynXis, Salesforce) preferred; training provided if needed.
