Reservations Executive - Chinese Market

About the role

Aman's Central Reservations team in Colombo is looking for a Reservations Executive for its Chinese market. The role handles reservation enquiries across all channels for Chinese-speaking guests and trade partners, supports them with professional service, and reports to the Reservations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservation and concierge enquiries from Chinese-speaking guests across all channels
• Upsell and cross-sell to maximise booking value and conversion
• Support revenue growth strategies focused on China and Taiwan
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reservation systems
• Build strong working relationships with Aman properties and corporate colleagues
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on occupancy, conversion and lead status
• Keep up to date on Aman properties, offerings and market trends
• Follow up on guest and trade enquiries promptly and personally
• Help the team meet sales targets and service quality benchmarks

Required profile

• Experience in reservations, customer service or luxury hospitality
• Hospitality education preferred
• Strong Mandarin (or Cantonese) and English
• Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented, with good teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Chinese luxury travel preferences

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Opera, Fidelio, SynXis or Salesforce is a plus
