About the role
We are looking for a Shipping Executive to join our logistics team in Colombo. The role involves handling end‑to‑end shipping operations, ensuring smooth coordination of freight movements and accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage Bill of Lading and other export/import documents.
- Coordinate freight forwarding activities and bookings with carriers.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that arise.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide timely updates.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or customer service.
- Graduate degree in logistics or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Availability to work Saturday to Wednesday, 6:30 am – 3:30 pm.
- Preferably residing in Colombo or nearby areas.
Required skills
- Bill of Lading (BL) handling.
- Freight forwarding processes.
- Import and export documentation.
- Booking management.
