Senior Software Engineer - Java

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java expertise to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, cloud‑native applications. You will work within an agile team, delivering reliable solutions that integrate with e‑commerce and enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in agile ceremonies and follow the software development lifecycle.
• Design, implement, and test reliable, high‑performance Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Develop unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure quality.
• Deploy and maintain cloud‑native services on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with peers, clients, and cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design proposals, and functional specifications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
• Contribute to research, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and design principles.
• Ability to lead a small team and manage tasks independently.

Required skills

• Java and Spring Boot framework.
• JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL.
• Frontend frameworks: ReactJS, Angular, Next.js.
• Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Version control with Git.
• Web services: REST, SOAP.
• Project tools: JIRA, Azure Boards.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments, microservices architecture, and cloud‑native solutions.
