Senior C++ Engineer

About the role

We are building a talent community for senior C++ engineers in Sri Lanka to work on high‑performance, mission‑critical systems for financial markets. As a senior engineer you will design, develop and optimise ultra‑low‑latency applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high‑performance C++ applications for market data ingestion and order handling.
• Conduct deep‑dive performance tuning, memory analysis and kernel‑level optimisations.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor the wider engineering community through code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) with solid grasp of STL and Boost.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments, multithreading, concurrency and real‑time systems.
• Analytical mindset capable of troubleshooting complex bottlenecks and system failures.
