Recruiter – Australian Hiring

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to manage end‑to‑end hiring for Australian clients. You will work closely with Australian stakeholders, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews and support onboarding, all while operating from our hybrid office in Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycles for Australian businesses, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Identify suitable candidates via LinkedIn, databases, referrals and other channels.
• Conduct initial screenings and shortlist candidates according to client specifications.
• Coordinate interview schedules and keep all parties informed throughout the process.
• Collaborate directly with Australian stakeholders to understand hiring needs and candidate expectations.
• Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for current and future roles.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, documentation and pipeline updates.
• Support the onboarding process once a candidate is selected.
• Proactively flag recruitment challenges, delays or risks.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and strong relationship management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with full‑cycle responsibilities.
• Experience recruiting for Australian clients or familiarity with the Australian market is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of Australian workplace culture and recruitment practices.
• Excellent English communication skills and confidence when dealing with Australian stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple requisitions.
• High attention to detail and strong follow‑up capabilities.
• Proactive, adaptable and ownership‑driven attitude.
