Outbound Travel Executive

About the role

The Outbound Travel Executive will join Lucky Seven Holidays in Negombo to design and manage travel experiences for clients travelling abroad. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering personalised itineraries, handling bookings and providing end‑to‑end support before, during and after each trip.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with individuals, families or groups to understand travel preferences, budgets and special requirements.
• Prepare customised itineraries, quotations and travel documents for outbound trips.
• Book flights, accommodations, tours and ground transportation using reservation systems and GDS platforms.
• Maintain accurate records, coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers, and monitor visa and regulatory updates.
• Provide proactive customer service, resolve issues promptly and ensure a smooth travel experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a travel or tourism agency, preferably in outbound operations.
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages.
• Attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
• Relevant diploma or certification in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation systems and GDS platforms.
• Experience using online booking tools.
• Competence in basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
