Operations Associate

About the role

Rare Carat is the leading online marketplace for diamonds, helping customers purchase engagement rings with confidence. We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Associate to manage daily e‑commerce operations, coordinate with a global network of vendors, and ensure smooth order fulfillment across our distribution centers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage communications and dispute resolution with over 200 diamond vendors and jewelry manufacturers worldwide.
• Process timely payments, reconcile credits, and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to address inquiries and ensure a premium customer experience.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to monitor shipments, handle expedite requests, and track delivery schedules.
• Maintain detailed logs of shipments, logistics activities, and reverse‑logistics processes.
• Identify potential delays, report them to the Director of Operations, and propose preventive solutions.
• Analyze operational data using Excel and Google Sheets to drive process improvements.
• Develop and implement SOPs for returns and reverse logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in e‑commerce operations, logistics, or vendor management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Google Sheets.
