Lead People & Culture

About the role

Codimite is seeking a Lead People & Culture professional to head HR operations, ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour laws, and foster a people‑focused workplace. You will work closely with leadership, managers and employees to improve policies, processes and the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR compliance initiatives, monitor legal changes and update policies accordingly.
• Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding, including promotions and transfers.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and performance improvement processes.
• Partner with leadership on people strategy, engagement initiatives and organisational development.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and statutory documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Compliance or a similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws, employment regulations and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to develop HR policies, handle employee relations and manage the full employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRIS systems.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
