HR & Compliance Manager

About the role

Codimite is leveraging cutting‑edge AI tools to transform software development. We are seeking an HR & Compliance professional to strengthen our people practices, HR operations, and compliance framework, ensuring alignment with Sri Lankan labour laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour legislation, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement required updates promptly.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate HR audits and resolve compliance gaps.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee‑relations issues.
• Support performance management, probation, confirmation, and improvement processes.
• Identify HR risks and recommend process and control improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws and employment regulations.
• Experience in HR policy development, audits, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
