Human Resource Operations Specialist (Logistics)

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resource Operations Specialist to support end‑to‑end HR processes for the logistics functions of Daraz Sri Lanka. You will partner with business leaders to meet staffing needs, manage employee lifecycle events, and ensure compliance with local labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Handle onboarding, off‑boarding, attendance tracking, payroll coordination and employee records management.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment for warehouse, logistics and frontline teams.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data, generate operational reports on headcount, attrition and workforce metrics.
• Administer day‑to‑day HR systems including HRIS, WFM, biometric and attendance platforms.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, internal communications and policy rollouts for the operational workforce.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of HR experience in fast‑paced operational environments such as e‑commerce, retail, logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labor regulations and statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience supporting payroll and HR documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
• Experience using Workforce Management (WFM) systems.
• Familiarity with biometric attendance systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data management and reporting.
