GEO Content Writer

About the role

Scalar Intelligence (Pvt) Ltd, part of the Sino Lanka Group, is seeking a GEO Content Writer who can craft content that is discoverable and reference‑worthy for AI‑powered search engines and generative AI platforms. The role focuses on creating authoritative, well‑researched material that aligns with search intent and AI discovery requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create GEO‑optimised content designed for AI‑powered search and generative engines.
• Develop authoritative, accurate, and well‑researched content that AI platforms can understand and potentially reference.
• Conduct in‑depth research on industry topics, trends, competitors, and user search behaviour.
• Structure content using clear headings, concise answers, FAQs, relevant entities, facts, and supporting information.
• Optimise content for AI discovery while maintaining natural, engaging, and human‑friendly writing.
• Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility across AI search platforms and generative search results.
• Collaborate with technical and subject‑matter experts to develop credible and authoritative content.
• Analyse content performance and continuously refine GEO strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in GEO, AI content, SEO content, or digital content writing.
• Strong understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how AI search differs from traditional SEO.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to transform complex information into clear, accurate, and authoritative content.
• Passion for AI, technology, SaaS, and the evolving future of search.

Required skills

• Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
• Familiarity with AI tools for content research and optimisation.
