Marketing Senior Adviser

About the role

Lead the development and execution of a regional marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, donor acquisition, and fundraising growth across World Vision’s operations in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the Regional Marketing Strategy aligned with each country’s resource development plans and global brand standards.
• Guide country teams in designing and launching fundraising campaigns for child sponsorship, individual philanthropy and CSR.
• Define and continuously improve the regional digital marketing strategy across social media, email, SEM, paid acquisition and website.
• Coach and mentor marketing, communications and donor acquisition staff in all three offices and run capability‑building workshops.
• Manage the Regional Marketing Steering Group, coordinate reporting and represent the region in global forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 8‑10 years of professional marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or regional role.
• Proven track record of leading marketing strategies that deliver measurable growth in brand awareness or fundraising revenue.
• Experience managing multi‑country or geographically distributed teams and working in a matrix environment.
• Willingness to travel 30‑40% across India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with digital marketing channels: social media advertising, SEM/SEO, email marketing, paid digital acquisition.
• Marketing analytics and performance reporting, including A/B testing and audience segmentation.
• Evaluation and implementation of marketing technology tools such as CRM integrations, automation and analytics platforms.
