Founding Platform Engineer

About the role

LedgerPro is building an AI‑first accounting platform and needs a Founding Platform Engineer to own and scale its core infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain the systems that power the product, ensuring reliability, compliance, and rapid development velocity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate the full stack infrastructure, including Cloudflare Workers, SQLite/D1 databases, and Hetzner CI runners.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and dispatch systems that enable a small team to ship at scale.
• Own uptime, respond to incidents, and create runbooks and dashboards for real‑time monitoring.
• Implement and manage compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR as integral engineering projects.
• Diagnose root causes of failures and drive permanent fixes rather than temporary work‑arounds.
• Work close to the metal with bare‑metal runners, edge compute, and database performance tuning.

Required profile

• Strong infrastructure mindset treating reliability, tooling, and compliance as a single system.
• Passion for building automation that removes manual steps and improves developer productivity.
• Experience (or demonstrable ability) in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, whether early‑career or senior.
• Desire to own end‑to‑end infrastructure, from provisioning to incident resolution.
