Center Manager

About the role

The Center Manager will lead the daily operations of NEXGEN’s Negombo campus, ensuring that academic and support services run smoothly for students and staff. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing staff, coordinating with academic teams, and maintaining high standards of service and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules, allocate resources, and supervise day‑to‑day campus activities.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to deliver seamless student services.
• Monitor centre performance, handle inquiries and escalations, and support enrollment and outreach initiatives.
• Organise events, workshops, examinations and prepare operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, quality standards and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in centre or campus operations management, including staff coordination and workflow planning.
• Background in student services or customer relationship management.
• Strong administrative, organisational and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with academic staff and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Education, Administration or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
