B2B Growth & Performance Marketer

About the role

Capital Placement is a dual‑sided marketplace connecting employers with early‑career talent. We are looking for a B2B Growth & Performance Marketer to build an inbound engine that brings qualified employers directly to our sales team, allowing them to focus on closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute a 30‑day lead‑generation plan and scale it over 6‑12 months.
• Run paid‑advertising and retargeting campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, Meta and other platforms, allocating budget to the highest‑converting channels.
• Design email nurture sequences, lead‑scoring models and automation workflows that route high‑intent leads to sales in real time.
• Develop, test and optimise landing pages to attract the right audience.
• Improve visibility in AI‑driven search (ChatGPT, Gemini) through structured data and answer‑engine optimisation.
• Track the full funnel from first visit to closed deal and use data‑driven insights to refine tactics.
• Collaborate with sales to define a qualified lead and continuously improve hand‑off quality.
• Lay the groundwork for a future growth team over the next 6‑12 months.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who builds solutions when they don’t exist.
• 2+ years building inbound marketing engines from scratch at a B2B startup, owning both strategy and execution.
• Hands‑on experience with paid ads on Google, LinkedIn and Meta, including retargeting.
• Proven track record with email and marketing automation.
• Daily use of sales engagement and enrichment tools such as Clay, Apollo and Instantly.
• Comfortable working with data, building dashboards and making decisions from analytics.
• Extensive experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to automate workflows, generate copy and build landing pages.
