Showroom Assistant

About the role

The Showroom Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors, welcoming them and providing clear information about products and services. Working on‑site full‑time in Colombo, the role supports both the daily operation of the showroom and the broader retail sales effort.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, respond to inquiries and provide product information.
• Maintain product displays, ensure showroom cleanliness and organization.
• Support daily showroom operations, including basic documentation and billing tasks.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support retail sales activities and follow up with customers.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with experience in showroom or client‑facing environments.
• Effective verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks related to product display.
• Reliability, interpersonal skills and a professional attitude toward customers and teammates.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) or customer information systems.
