Shift Manager, Surveillance

About the role

The Shift Manager, Surveillance oversees the efficient operation of the surveillance department, ensuring continuous monitoring and analysis of all gaming and cash handling areas. This role is pivotal in protecting revenue and upholding the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a small surveillance team, setting performance standards and providing coaching.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal customers and ensure discreet, confidential handling of all situations.
• Supervise daily surveillance operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely reporting, and proper camera coverage.
• Implement and enforce surveillance policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Draft and distribute communications and reports as required.
• Collaborate with gaming and other departments to promote the surveillance function.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a surveillance or security environment.
• Strong ability to manage performance, resolve issues, and maintain morale.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
